The precise sowing of the Primera DMC is based on its high-performance chisel openers. Whether on tilled soil or when direct seeding, the coulters reliably penetrate even the hardest ground. In doing so, they completely clear the seed furrow of organic residues without requiring any additional coulter pressure.

The seed drill performs supremely, even on heavy ground or with straw quantities exceeding 10 t/ha. The decisive factor is the well-thought-out combination of “on-grip tines’’ and the actual weight of the coulter: it ensures reliable soil opening and precise placement of the seed.

Up to 4 applied materials, as well as the option of liquid fertiliser, are transported reliably from the hoppers to the outlets at the back of the openers, where they are precisely placed into the soil. This means that a fresh crop can be sown immediately after harvest – with uniform, reliable field emergence. The result: efficient, water-saving and economical management.

• Consistent sowing depth even on undulating terrain and in any soil conditions thanks to the parallelogram suspension of the chisel openers.
• Reliable, blockage-free through passage even where there are large amounts of straw thanks to the staggered arrangement of the coulters with a diagonal "tunnel” running through them.
• Reinforcement of the point, in the HD pro variant, increases wear resistance, even on sandy soils.
• Individual depth control for each coulter provided by the side-mounted rollers. The seed furrow is reliably filled with finely crumbled soil, even in damp conditions or at high speeds up to 18 km/h. Ideal starting conditions for all crops.
• The REVOMAT overload protection protects the coulter by allowing it to lift when an obstacle is encountered, with a fixed force of over 500 kg at the point.
• The even seed placement and seed embedment promotes uniform field emergence. This makes any subsequent work steps such as fertilisation, plant protection and harvesting more straightforward.

1. The chisel opener opens the seed furrow and deposits the applied material.
2. The chisel opener generates a stream of soil that is deflected back into the open seed furrow by the following rollers.
3. This covers the seed furrow with soil and the following harrows ensures that it is reliably closed.
