The hoppers on the Cayena 6001 and 6001-C
With a capacity of 3,600 litres and application rates of 1 to 400 kg/ha at 15 km/h, the Cayena 6001 hopper offers high capacity for long working days. The large volume minimises non-productive time whilst maximising the effective working time. Filling takes just a few moments from sacks, using a shovel, Bigbags or transfer trailer. Pure efficiency.
Twin-chamber hopper for high application rates
AMAZONE also offers the Cayena with a twin-chamber hopper as the Cayena 6001-C. The 4,000 litre seed hopper is divided into two sections in a ratio of 60:40, and is equipped with 2 electric metering units. Both sections can, from choice, be filled with different materials to be applied. Using the same conveying system, applied materials such as seed and fertiliser, or different seeds, are placed together in the seed furrow.
For example, individual catch crops can be combined, or an appropriate starter fertiliser can be applied during the sowing of winter oil seed rape or spring corn.
The ability to efficiently apply seed-fertiliser combinations is guaranteed by the fully-enclosed pressurised hopper system on the Cayena-C.
