ISOBUS – Machine operation in the digital age

One language, many benefits! AMAZONE offers state-of-the-art technology with virtually unlimited possibilities with every ISOBUS-compatible machine. It does not matter whether you use an operator terminal by AMAZONE or an ISOBUS terminal directly installed in your tractor. ISOBUS is a worldwide recognised communication standard between, on the one hand, operator terminal, tractor and connected implements and, on the other hand, farm management systems.

Automatic GPS-Switch part-area shut-off via Section Control

More precision, more efficiency!

In view of the very large working widths used now, the matching of the spread patterns is very important. Thanks to the electric delivery system adjustment on the TS spreading system, it is able to react precisely and sensitively in these cases. So even outer part-width sections can be easily controlled. In addition, due to the individual speed adjustment of the left and right hand side discs, the spreading width can be reduced from the far outside to the centre, so that, even at large working widths, long and shallow-shaped wedges and short work are optimally spread. This means part-width section control. In the simplest configuration, 8 part-width sections can be easily controlled manually (via the operator terminal). Up to 128 part-width sections can be controlled with the appropriate Section Control licence for the terminal.

  • Individual outlying part-width sections can also be controlled with DynamicSpread.


Automatic part-width section control

If the terminal is equipped with Section Control functionality, i.e. GPS-Switch part-width section control by AMAZONE, the part-width sections can be switched completely automatically depending on the GPS position. Once a field has been created, the driver can concentrate fully on operating the vehicle in automatic mode, since the part-width sections are switched automatically in wedge shaped fields and on headlands.

GPS-Switch

If the operating terminal facilitates Section Control, such as GPS-Switch part-width section control from AMAZONE, the part-width sections are activated completely automatically and in relation to the GPS position. Once a field has been created, the driver can concentrate fully on operating the vehicle in automatic mode, since the part-width sections are switched automatically in wedge shaped fields and on headlands.

SwitchPoint

When utilising GPS-Switch, SwitchPoint means the adjustment of the switch on and switch off points depending on fertiliser type and working width. Both values can be taken from the spreading chart and entered into the relevant operator terminal.

AmaTron Connect

New ways of comfortable networked operation

With AmaTron Connect, AMAZONE provides a digital interface to a smartphone or tablet. The mobile device is simply connected to the AmaTron 4 as a hotspot. AmaTron Connect enables use of the AmaTron Twin App as well as data exchange via agrirouter and the myAmaRouter App.

agrirouter is an independent data exchange platform for farmers and contractors. It enables simple and cross-manufacturer data exchange between machines and agricultural software applications, thereby reducing administration. The user retains full control over the data at all times.


myAmaRouter App
For the on-line transfer of data between AmaTron 4 and agrirouter

The myAmaRouter App enables data to be exchanged between the AmaTron 4 ISOBUS operator terminal and the agrirouter manufacturer-independent data exchange platform. If an AMAZONE machine is to be used to carry out a task with job data (e.g. application maps), the data can be easily transmitted from a Farm Management Information System (FMIS) to AmaTron 4 via agrirouter and the myAmaRouter App. After the work has been completed, the job can be sent back and is available for documentation in an agricultural software application.

The new dimension in control and monitoring

With AmaPad 2, AMAZONE offers a particularly high-quality operator terminal. The 12.1" multi-touch colour display is particularly user-friendly and fulfils the highest demands of Precision Farming. AmaPad 2 is operated solely via touch.

With the practical "MiniView concept”, applications which aren’t being actively operated at that moment, but need to be monitored, are clearly displayed at the side. When needed, these can be enlarged using "a finger swipe”. The possibility of individualising the "dashboard panel” with a choice of display rounds off the user ergonomics.
