One hoe. Pure Precision.
DISCOVER THE VENTERRA HIGH OUTPUT HOE
Is this image of weeds in a field a familiar sight to you?
The challenges facing agriculture, particularly in terms of weed control, have increased significantly.
Both the loss of herbicides and the increase in herbicide resistance are becoming an ever-greater problem in agriculture worldwide – for instance, on many farms, in Germany, weeds such as black grass, loose silky bent and rye grass species are also causing great concern. This is because chemical weed control is now difficult - or potentially impossible.
AMAZONE's Venterra interrow hoes provide a solution to these challenges. By precision hoeing, weeds and unwanted grasses are mechanically removed between and within rows – any inherent resistance is irrelevant.
Secure your yield with precise technology for mechanical weed control – and stay flexible with RowSpread for targeted fertiliser application and RowSpray for band spraying.
Precise!
Perfect guidance
Smart Vision camera system
Developed in-house by AMAZONE. Automatic slope correction using the integrated tilt sensor and reliable slope compensation up to ±15° keeps the hoe safely on track, even under the toughest of conditions.
The system also features an LED lighting package for hoeing round-the-clock and an optional second camera for use in difficult crop conditions. Supplemented by the QualityCam for direct monitoring of the working elements, and the intuitive, 10-inch operator terminal with high-resolution display, the result is a guidance system that perfectly combines precision, control and driver comfort.
Precisely on the right track
Compact shift frames VR 2 and VR 4
The compact VR 2 shift frame for working widths of up to 7 m is particularly easy to maintain thanks to its central lubrication point for the sliding mechanism. The standard 3-point mounting frame makes it easy to change between different hoeing frames and machine profiles. The fully integrated VR 4 shift frame, with a range of travel of up to 60 cm, brings hoes with working widths of 7.2 to 12.8 m close to the tractor, providing a low centre of gravity.
Both frames are available with selectable hydraulic packages that are controlled either via a single-acting spool valve or a load-sensing system. With the load-sensing system, the integrated pre-charged accumulator system, with nitrogen reservoir, ensures that there is always an adequate oil supply for the shift frame, guaranteeing particularly rapid response times.
Adaptable!
RowDisc SR
Hoe protection discs
The hoe protection discs protect the plants by reliably keeping soil and weeds loosened by the hoe blades away from the rows.
- Toothed protection disc
- 500 mm diameter
- For crops with sensitive leaves
- Rounded teeth prevent leaf damage Usable in areas with stony soils
- Simple adjustment from transport to the working position
- 3-stage spring loading
RapidoClip
Hoe blade change in record time
The patented RapidoClip system is a tool-less quick-change system for the hoe blades that enables worn blades to be replaced in next to no time, both in the field and back in the yard.
Adaptable to all crops
Finger hoes
The Venterra's finger hoes break up the soil surface in the crop row and pull out weeds within the rows. Optimal depth control is achieved by mounting them on separate parallelograms.
Future-orientated!
RowSpread with the FTender front-mounted hopper
Effective application of fertiliser or undersown crops: with the FTender front-mounted hopper, with a capacity of 1,600 or 2,200 litres, the applied materials are delivered precisely in the row or between rows. The result is matched nutrient supply and the early establishment of undersown crops.
RowSpray with FT-P 1502 front-mounted tank
High-precision application of chemical plant protection products:
with the FT-P 1502 front-mounted tank, with a volume of 1,500 litres, and the band spraying device, chemical plant protection products or liquid fertiliser can be applied flexibly in the row as high-precision band spraying, in addition to the mechanical weed control. Herbicide use can be reduced by up to 85%, whilst simultaneously significantly reducing the risk of chemical resistance.
Venterra 1K and 1KL
- Equipped with the Type M parallelograms and tools from the Venterra range for full operational capability and the best field results in working widths from 1.3 to 4.2 m
- Convertible from front to rear mounting, as well as optionally available with a row guidance system with a control unit and shift frame which can be retrofitted without any problems
- The Venterra 1K frame can be equipped with the hydraulic folding frame extension kit as an option
- Venterra 1KL with extended base frame and camera row guidance for use in beds
Venterra 2K
- Very high frame clearance of up to 100 cm for working in tall crops such as maize or sunflowers, right up to row closure and in applications where there is late weed infestation
- Fast, hydraulic folding to a transport width of less than 3 m for quick field changes and safe
road transport - Convertible from front to rear mounting, as well as optionally available with a row guidance system with a control unit and shift frame which can be retrofitted without any problems
- Optional support wheels on the frame for smooth running of the hoe frame
Venterra VR 4
- Very precise results in work, even at large working widths of up to 12.8 m, thanks to the standard, camera-controlled row guidance system with integrated VR 4 shift frame, having a length of travel of up to 60 cm
- Operation partially folded is possible for maximum flexibility to match in with the various different
seed drill working widths. The double folding system provides a transport width of less than 3 metres - Support wheels on the frame for optimised weight distribution and an integrated shift frame for a centre of gravity close to the tractor
