Multiteam with Precea and AmaTron 4
MultiFunctions in precision seeding
Welcome to the Multiteam of precision seeding:
Precea and AmaTron 4 from AMAZONE
Precea - the all-rounder in precision seeding
Precision agriculture is an important topic for the future: The individual plant is increasingly taking centre stage. This also includes the preciseness of the seed placement and fertiliser application. High outputs, fast working speeds, and comfortable machine operation remain fundamentally important. There are more and more challenges in precision seeding - easily mastered by the all-rounder Precea from AMAZONE.
The multi-talented Precea makes possible that perfect precision - with MultiMap, MultiBin, MultiSwitch and MultiBoom, precision farming and precision seeding comes to your field. This high-performance technology requires an equally capable operating terminal, AmaTron 4.
AmaTron 4 - the intelligent control system
The special functions result from the perfect interaction between the Precea and the AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal.
At AMAZONE, "More than ISOBUS" stands for additional terminal and machine functions which offer the user added value in the precision farming sector.
AMAZONE's electronic solutions, developed in-house by its own specialist department and with a high degree of practical relevance, are the key to enabling the AMAZONE Precea to utilise its full potential.
MultiFunctions in precision seeding with Precea and AmaTron 4
Good technology is the basis for high precision. However, only the interaction between an electrical control system that is equal to and harmonised with it allows for perfect precision. AMAZONE makes this perfection possible with an electronic solution that is harmonised for both the Precea and AmaTron 4, thereby making the Precea a precision seeding all-rounder.
MultiBin
The application of more than one product during seeding has become commonplace. The use of several hoppers enables you to apply not only 1) seed, but also 2) fertiliser or 3) micro-granules at the same time and in the same pass. For example, the Precea-CC used in conjunction with the Micro plus micro-granular applicator enables up to 3 different products to be applied simultaneously at various placement depths and independently of each other. Seed, fertiliser, and micro-granules can therefore be flexibly combined.
This saves on passes and increases fertiliser efficiency through the use of a starter fertiliser as well as leaving concentrated deposits of fertiliser alongside the seed.
MultiMap
Since the soil conditions, water availability and therefore also the yield potential can sometimes vary greatly within a field, it makes sense to tailor seed and fertiliser rates to these conditions. With MultiMap, seed and fertiliser can be controlled independently of each other via application maps and thus applied to site-specific areas.
This enables environmentally-friendly and efficient use of inputs. The AmaTron 4 with the GPS Maps&Doc licence allows simultaneous use of up to 4 application maps.
MultiBoom
2 or 3 materials are individually metered via different metering units and delivered at separate entry points enabling the simultaneous application of different materials. Since the fertiliser coulter runs in front of the sowing coulter, MultiBoom automatically switches the two metering units on and off at staggered intervals via GPS-Switch pro, in order to prevent overlaps and gaps at the headland.
If a micro-granular applicator is present, this can also be controlled on the basis of time.
This ensures very precise switching points and thus minimal waste and uniform plant growth on the headlands.
MultiSwitch
Precise switch-on and switch-off points are very important, in order to avoid over-sowing and under-sowing in critical areas, such as on the headland. The individual row shut-off of the Precea, combined with the GPS-Switch software licence in the AmaTron 4 terminal, provides precise placement. This means that each row can be automatically switched on and off individually. On the one hand, this saves seed, as fewer overlaps occur, and on the other hand, gaps where weeds can spread are prevented.
If fertiliser or micro-granulate is to be simultaneously applied when sowing, you can also automatically switch the fertiliser on and off in single rows via GPS-Switch. This optimises the use of inputs, saves costs, and ensures even ripening on the headland.
