Thank you for visiting Amazone!

Around 450,000 specialised visitors, more than 100,000 of them from abroad, visited the Agritechnica trade show in Hanover from 12th to 18th November, 2017. The influx of visitors on the 1,700 m² Amazone Stand in Hall 9 was bigger than ever before. For taking the time to come to see us and for having so many interesting discussions, the whole Amazone team says thank you to all our customers, interested people and sales partners.

The visitors’ interest was distributed evenly across the 60 machines on show from all the Amazone key competence sectors. Of course, of specific interest and completely surrounded were the 26 innovations introduced for the first time, among them several completely newly developed products. It became evident that most customers intend to invest in agricultural machinery that provides even more precision and offers even more operational comfort. Also on the Amazone stand, the theme digitisation played an important role and much interest was shown in both the current and future solutions in this area which have been summarised under the strapline “AMAZONE 4.0”.

The highlights of the show included the official award ceremony of three silver innovation medals. Silver medal No. 1 was awarded to “SwingStop pro“, developed in cooperation with the company Rometron, where this innovation provides even more precise boom guidance and an optimisation in the accuracy of distribution for modern crop protection sprayers. The second silver medal was awarded to Amazone’s SmartService 4.0. This service includes the latest Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies to further accelerate learning, training and repair processes in the area of customer technical service and also to assist Amazone customers when carrying out routine maintenance work. Together with DKE-Data GmbH & Co. KG and other well-known agricultural machinery manufacturers, Amazone was awarded silver medal No. 3 for agrirouter. agrirouter is a data exchange platform where farmers and agricultural contractors can transfer all working data between their machinery and different agricultural software applications.

The new Amazone UX 01 trailed sprayer also received an award. It has been recognised by the agricultural machinery editors of the Deutsche Landwirtschaftsverlag dlv along with their colleagues from various international agricultural professional publishers with the title “Machine of the year 2018”.
