Amazone further ahead in the DLG Image Barometer
In the recently published image assessment of companies from the agricultural sector, the DLG 2017 Image Barometer, Amazone again performed excellently. With 49 points, the company is again in 4th place in the agricultural machinery sector and thus emerges as best amongst the assessment of the other medium-sized implement manufacturers. The first three places are taken by the companies: Fendt (58 points), Claas (56 points) and John Deere (52 points).
The image barometer, which over the last 21 years has been determined regularly by the DLG German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft), has, once again this year, examined the level of awareness and familiarity that the most important agricultural brands in Germany have. For this, in August and September, a phone interview was carried out with more than 700 farmers. The brand index calculated from this survey was split into four parts: brand knowledge, brand loyalty, brand performance and brand image of which all qualified equally in the total ranking of the companies.
The Amazone directors, Christian Dreyer und Dr. Justus Dreyer, view the result not only as a success, but also as a motivation. “Although we are very pleased, we will not rest, however, on it. Much more so, we have to endeavour to constantly further improve our products, the level of service and the advice that we give. For this we have to very much nurture the loyal cooperation with our customers so as to be able to subsequently and rapidly respond to any changes in their needs and demands.“
