Robust frame with the Smart Frame System
1. To adjust the working depth, the Smart Frame System uses a hydraulic cylinder to rotate the coupled disc carriers of the rows of discs around their own axis from the tractor. This causes the rows of discs to swing out or in. The system offers a high level of working comfort, especially when the working depth changes briefly, such as when working deeper in tramlines or on headlands. At the minimum working depth, the rows of discs are fully swung in towards the frame; at maximum working depth, they are fully swung away from the frame.
This increases the distance between the discs and the main frame, and therefore the through-passage of the machine, in line with the requirements of the field: shallow work with a small disc spacing with little organic matter; deep work with a large disc spacing with a large amount of organic matter.
2. Regardless of this, the working depth of the leading tool is adjusted in a similar way.
3. The adjustment of the rear harrow and the leading tool is unaffected by the working depth adjustment of the discs, as the main frame always remains parallel to the ground.
The current machine settings, such as 4) the working depth of the discs, can be viewed from the tractor on easy-to-read scales.
