With the pro-Pack for Catros, AMAZONE offers optimum and virtually loss-free spreading of organic nutrients, such as slurry or fermentation residues. Initially, the ground is opened up by the first row of discs. By spreading behind the first disc, a strip of slurry is deposited into the opened-up groove which is then closed again by the second row of discs. This ensures the optimum application of the slurry with minimal nutrient losses. The following roller ensures an appropriate reconsolidation of the soil, or the optional double harrow promotes faster drying in spring.

The perfect incorporation of slurry into the soil with the Catros pro from AMAZONE ensures compliance with any legal regulations concerning slurry spreading.

SynCult slurry distributor

The Catros pro can be combined with the Vogelsang SynCult DosiMat DMX slurry distributor. The system is characterised by high application rates of up to 10,000 l/min and a consistently high accuracy of distribution regardless of the flow rate. The adapter frame carries the distributor and the hoses for the slurry system are permanently mounted onto the first row of discs on the Catros. AMAZONE installs the slurry distributor and hoses in house.

Simple and uncomplicated setting of the working depth

• One-time alignment of the main frame, since the working depth is changed by swivelling the discs in the soil
• The first and second row of discs always work at the same depth
• Convenient for brief changes to the working depth, such as working deeper in tramlines or on the headland

Huge through-passage, always perfectly adapted to the working depth

• The distance between the discs and the main frame automatically increases the deeper you work. When the working depth is increased, the discs pivot away from both the frame and the rear roller.

No lubrication ever again – thanks to the maintenance-free disc bearings 
With no need to lubricate the disc bearings, this results in a significantly reduced overall maintenance time. The face seal has been used in AMAZONE tillage equipment for almost 25 years, and has, over this period, more than proven itself across every continent.

The elastic sprung rubber buffer blocks for suspending the discs, not only ensure optimum contour following, but also act as overload safety protection on each individual disc. The oversized rubber buffer blocks are maintenance-free.

AMAZONE offers a roller specially tailored for slurry spreading in the shape of the SW 600 pro cage roller and the DUW 580 pro double U-profile roller . However, any of the other rollers can also be specified.

The mounted Catros⁺-2 compact disc harrow, in 6 m and 7 m working widths, can also be equipped with the double harrow. This provides faster drying and warming of the soil. At the same time, the double harrow reduces the weight of the machine. Depth control is provided by the front-mounted support wheels.

Catch crop sowing and soil tillage in one pass

AMAZONE offers the GreenDrill 200 rear-mounted seeder box for the mounted models and the GreenDrill 501 for the trailed models enabling the application of catch crops, either directly or in combination with a soil tillage machine. The GreenDrill seeder boxes have a capacity of either 200 l or 500 l and are easily accessible via the access steps.
