With the pro-Pack for Catros, AMAZONE offers optimum and virtually loss-free spreading of organic nutrients, such as slurry or fermentation residues. Initially, the ground is opened up by the first row of discs. By spreading behind the first row, a band of slurry is deposited into the open slot generated and then closed again by the second row of discs.  This ensures the optimum application of the slurry with minimal nutrient losses. The following roller ensures appropriate reconsolidation of the soil, or, using the optional double harrow promotes
faster drying in the spring.

The perfect incorporation of slurry into the soil with the Catros pro from AMAZONE enables complete compliance with any legal regulations on slurry spreading.

SynCult slurry distributor

The Catros pro can be combined with the SynCult slurry distributor DosiMat DMX from Vogelsang. The system is characterised by high application rates of up to 10,000 l/min and a consistently high accuracy of distribution regardless of the flow rate. The adapter frame carries the distributor and the hoses for the slurry system are permanently mounted onto the first row of discs on the Catros. AMAZONE installs the slurry distributor and hoses in house.

Simple and uncomplicated setting and adjustment of the working depth

• One-time alignment of the main frame, since the working depth is changed by swivelling the discs in the soil 
• The first and second row of discs always work at the same depth 
• Convenient for quick changes to the working depth, such as working deeper in tramlines or on the headland

Huge through-passage, always perfectly adapted to the working depth

• The distance between the discs and the main frame automatically increases the deeper you work. When the working depth is increased, the discs are turned away from both the frame and the following roller.

No lubrication ever again – thanks to the maintenance-free disc bearings

With no need to lubricate the disc bearings, this results in a significantly reduced overall maintenance time. For constant use in combination with slurry, face seals with a higher chromium content are fitted. These seal the bearing even better.

The elastic sprung rubber buffer blocks for suspending the discs, not only ensure optimum contour following, but also act as overload safety protection on each individual disc. The oversized rubber buffer blocks are maintenance-free.

The mounted machines, in 6 m and 7 m working widths, can also be equipped with a double harrow. This provides faster drying and warming of the soil. At the same time, the double harrow reduces the weight of the machine. Depth control is provided by the front-mounted support wheels.

AMAZONE offers a roller which has been specially tailored for slurry spreading in the shape of the SW 600 pro cage roller. However, any of the other rollers can also be used.

Catch crop sowing and slurry incorporation in a single pass

In order to directly establish catch crops, or together with the Catros pro, AMAZONE offers the GreenDrill 200 catch crop seeder box for the mounted models and GreenDrill 501 for the trailed Catros pro variants. The GreenDrill seeder boxes have a capacity of either 200 l or 500 l and are easily accessible via steps.
