Precise, flexible and highly efficient

Pressurised, dual-chamber hopper, distributor head with MultiSwitch single-row control and a new chassis equip the Primera DMC for the future

With the new Primera DMC 6002-2C, AMAZONE complements the Primera product range for direct sowing, mulch sowing and conventional sowing. The new Primera 6002-C impresses with an important key feature: the new multi-chamber pressurised hopper, which ensures even higher application rates and a greater throughput conveyor section. With a total capacity of 5,000 litres and a twin-section tank as standard, the drill is aimed specifically at specific farms that predominantly want to convey high application rates.

Twin-chamber pressurised hopper with a capacity of 5,000 litres

The new pressurised hopper has been designed for maximum output together with the revised feed section. Thanks to the pressurised technology, large seed rates can be distributed evenly and efficiently, both longitudinally and laterally, even at the high speeds of up to 18 km/h typical for the Primera DMC.

Two chambers, which can be used separately, at a ratio of 60/40, enable precise metering of different application materials as required in a single pass, for example seed and a starter fertiliser. Proven functions, such as simple calibration via the TwinTerminal, are, of course, still fully integrated in the drill. Access to the metering units has also been improved.

MultiSwitch – single-row control for maximum precision

The Primera DMC 6002-2C is equipped with a distributor head with MultiSwitch single-row switching as standard. This technology enables the targeted control and switching off of individual rows - ideal for wedge shaped fields, headlands and sowing in double or variable row spacing.

Thanks to the precise cut-off, overlaps can be reduced from around 5 % to less than 1 % of the sown area, compared to classic half-side shut-off. With an annual working area of around 1,000 ha and input costs of around €150/ha for seed and fertiliser, this results in potential savings of up to €6,000 per year - simply by minimising overlaps.

In addition, MultiSwitch allows flexible adjustment of the row spacing directly from the cab, for example for sowing oil seed rape or soya with a double row spacing. If, for example, only every second row is used, the deactivated chisel openers can also be mechanically locked up in the park position using a pin and lynch pin. This reduces the tractive force required, reduces soil movement and minimises the risk of blockages.

Of course, all tramline systems, track widths and wheel widths can also be controlled from the cab with the Primera DMC 6002-2C using the MultiSwitch single-row control system.

Soil protection in focus

For use in difficult soil conditions, the Primera DMC 6002-2C is available with 750 mm wide VF low-pressure tyres as an option. Tyre technology is particularly advantageous on soils with poor load-bearing capacity or at risk of compaction. The reduced tyre pressure increases the contact area - the ground pressure is significantly reduced, which helps to protect the soil structure.

Intelligent control via ISOBUS

The Primera DMC is controlled via ISOBUS in conjunction with the user-friendly AMAZONE software. An intuitive user interface and practical functions such as intuitive tramline control, hopper management and remote adjustment of the distributor head optimally support the driver in their day-to-day operations.

In addition, all common precision farming functions such as Section Control and application maps are fully integrated.

Primera DMC - maximum efficiency, complete precision

With the new Primera DMC 6002-2C, AMAZONE once again emphasises its innovative strength. The combination of maximum precision, increased performance and maximum flexibility makes the Primera DMC 6002-2C the ideal solution for professional and future-oriented farms that have the special challenge of high application rates.
