Soil tillage – Stay flexible

The D9 mounted seed drill can be combined with either a KE Rotamix rotary harrow, the KX Cultimix rotary cultivator or the KG Cultimix rotary cultivator.

With various models of roller available, it is possible to specify a complete unit of soil tillage tool and drill that are perfectly matched to the prevailing soil conditions.

Mounted or demounted – clever, simple and flexible

Thanks to the “liftpack” system used with the D9 linkage-mounted seed drill, or the QuickLink release coupling system of the AD harrow-mounted seed drill, the drill itself can be easily and quickly linked to the various AMAZONE soil tillage systems without the need for tools. In this way, the most appropriate and versatile sowing combination can be put together to cope with the most diverse of soils and applications.

Liftpack" system for combined sowing and soil tillage

Mounted or demounted – clever, simple and flexible

The D9 is also ideal for use on its own. But it also can become a drill combination in just a few simple steps: by utilising the “Liftpack” system with the D9 mounted seed drill, the seed drill can be easily and quickly linked to the various AMAZONE soil tillage machines without the need for tools. In this way, the most appropriate and versatile sowing combination can be put together to cope with the most diverse of soils and applications.

The benefits:

  • Easily manoeuvrable drill combination with active soil tillage in one pass
  • Compact unit for reducing the required lifting force

Seed hopper

The large seed hopper has a robust folding cover with rubber seals to keep out the dust and rain. The cover is particularly easy to operate, as it has a tubular handle and a gas-filled strut. The different sized seed hoppers and extensions mean that the tank capacity can be varied from 360 l to 1,380 l.

The benefits:

  • Extendable seed hopper
  • Easy and safe filling by Big Bag, front-end loader or from sacks
  • Mechanical fill level indicator

Comfortable filling

An especially wide loading board, accessible via the folding rear steps, simplifies the filling of the seed drill. The very spacious fill opening dimensions ensures a quick and convenient filling process – not only from big bags and front-end loader buckets but also from small sacks.

  • The safe access via the folding steps and the loading platform provides easy access to the seed hopper.

Track markers for D9

The option of fitting the track markers directly onto the seed drill is recommended if the D9 mounted seed drill is frequently used on its own. When the track markers are switched over, the tramline rhythm is automatically advanced in order to create tramlines at the desired spacing. For the D9 Super, the track markers are further protected against damage by shear bolts.

KR 9002 and KR 12002 coupling frame trailed carrier systems

High area output at a favourable price

A total working width of 9 m or 12 m can be achieved with the use of three D9 mounted seed drills in the AMAZONE KR mounted carrier system coupling frame. Each individual machine has its own chassis and can thus flexibly adjust, even to extremely uneven ground. The coupling frame is pulled by tractors of around 180 kW (240 hp). The three seed drills also come with “Liftpack” systems for transport and for turning on the headland. The very robust track markers leave a mark for the centre of the tractor and are folded vertically when switching over.

The central seed drill is equipped with tramline control to create tramlines at intervals of 12 m, 24 m or 36 m. The side-mounted machines are folded in during transport. When folded in, the transport width is approximately 6 m. A total of just two hydraulic spool valves are required for the tractor. The three D9 Supers can also be used individually.

Compatible with the Catros compact disc harrows

The trailed carrier system, which combines individual machines to form a single high-output unit, can also be used with the Catros compact disc harrow. The coupling frame is designed for use by ring-fenced, large-scale operations.*

KE 01 rotary harrow – The strong lightweight!

The KE 02-240 has 4 tine carriers per metre working width. The incoming power is evenly distributed across these rotors. The trailing tines produce an excellent crumb structure and level the soil surface perfectly. Above all, the new KE 02-240 with Rotamix demonstrates its advantages on heavy ground and is ideal for optimum seedbed preparation, especially after ploughing.
