Working width adjustment

The working width of the IceTiger can be set very precisely from 1.5 m to 8 m, both symmetrically and asymmetrically, via the EasySet 2 in-cab terminal, the AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal or any other ISOBUS-compatible terminal. Ideal for narrow footpaths, wide roads or major junctions.

Electric delivery point adjustment via an ISOBUS terminal

For the ISOBUS-controlled IceTiger, the spread fan is shifted to the right and left by an electric actuator whilst the vehicle is travelling along the road. From the seat, the operator simply enters how far the spread needs to be to the left or right in the ISOBUS terminal. The electric delivery point adjustment then sets the delivery point of the material to be spread precisely and fully automatically. A hydraulic motor simultaneously regulates the spreading disc speed. This automatically produces the desired symmetrical or asymmetrical spread pattern. It couldn’t be easier or more convenient.

GPS-based documentation of the spreading operation in accordance with DIN EN 15430

The data from the IceTiger (e.g. machine number, forward speed, the working status for transport, emptying, spreading, active spread rate, total spreading width, etc.) can be logged in accordance with DIN EN 15430. It can then be transmitted to an external telemetry module via an interface for documentation and job monitoring purposes.

System FlowCheck – radar-based sensor system

The FlowCheck radar sensor for the ISOBUS-controlled IceTiger, with a hopper capacity of 1,000 litres or more, enables blockages to be detected at an early stage. A message on the ISOBUS terminal immediately informs the user if a blockage has occurred e.g. due to the use of viscous, pre-wetted salt. 
In contrast to conventionally used sensors, the radar sensor is considerably less susceptible to dirt accumulation and therefore needs to be cleaned less frequently by the driver to guarantee its full functionality. As a result, the reliability of such a system is significantly improved, thereby preventing any interruptions in work.

The EasySet 2 in-cab terminal – easy to operate

EasySet 2 is the ideal in-cab terminal for those looking for convenient and simple operation.

The AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal, which was developed in-house by AMAZONE, means that comfortable working becomes a matter of routine. The 8" low-reflection, multi-touch colour display allows easy reading and quick input of all the necessary information. Intuitive operation of the functions is guaranteed at all times either via the 12 keys or the touch display.
