The Teres concept

Successful, sustainable ploughing with the Teres from AMAZONE

It is not just the philosophy but the right soil tillage methodology, taking into account the respective location, that is the decisive factor for success in agriculture.

The plough can provide a yield-securing function under certain circumstances. Where there is large-scale weed growth, the green matter and their seeds can be buried deep below ground by ploughing. This deprives the weeds of light thus preventing any chance of germination. In particular, resistant weeds can be controlled effectively in this way, whilst the detrimental influence of fungal diseases can also be reduced by ploughing. Mice and slug infestation can also be reduced significantly by ploughing.

Ploughing also promotes soil aeration. Heavy ground in particular, which warms up slowly in spring, benefits from ploughing bringing it up to temperature more quickly. Crops that require warmth can be established earlier and the short sowing windows utilised more effectively.

The Teres 200 and 300 mounted reversible ploughs from AMAZONE provide an excellent quality of work, thanks to the very high quality of their wearing metal and their ease of pull.

The Teres concept

High output inversion tillage

1. Perfect front furrow adjustment without changing the pull point thanks to the parallelogram linkage
2. Lower link shaft carried in bearings for less wear on both tractor and plough
3. SmartTurn - reduced-wear turnover process without changing the working width thanks to the frame swivel cylinder
4. SpeedBlade plough bodies with large front shin of the mouldboard for maximum speed with minimum wear
5. Perfect ploughing out to the boundary provided by the side-mounted depth wheel options
6. High level of operational reliability thanks to the robust beam and optimum overload protection
