DoubleTrail - fully automatic axle pivot steering

The UX 11201 Super can also be equipped with the electronically-controlled DoubleTrail axle steering system as an option. This electronic positive steering of both axles is particularly important for row crops, such as potatoes, beet and small field sizes, in order to avoid track damage.

The first axle now runs consistently in the tracks of the tractor rear wheels and the second axle follows the tracks of the tractor front wheels. A high level of directional stability with respect to the tractor is achieved and, more importantly, the sprayer boom is not negatively affected by the steering movements. During road transport, the first axle is locked and the second axle is actively steered by the system.
