In the event of snow and ice in winter, both the E+S and EK-S facilitate the reliable spreading of salt, sand or grit. These robust spreaders deliver precise results in work meaning safe driving on gritted roads and lanes.

However, the mounted spreaders can also be used effectively during the rest of the year: on lawns for spreading sand, on sports fields for spreading ash or for spreading gravel on footpaths. Year-round use makes the spreaders particularly cost-effective – the right solution for every operation.

Thanks to their robust design, the spreaders can cope with any material – the spreading disc reliably spreads the pre-set rate to the desired working width.

A spreader unit in a class of its own
The E+S Hydro spreaders are equipped with a hydraulic spreading disc drive and speed-related spread rate control. As the spreading width is controlled via the speed of the hydraulically-driven spreading disc, the E+S Hydro can be precisely and infinitely variably adjusted over a wide spreading width range from 1 to 8 m. The precise hydraulic drive ensures the perfect spread pattern at any working width and reduces the formation of salt dust.

The reduction to a minimum of the rotational speed of the agitator, which is connected to the spreading disc, whilst the tractor stops is an additional advantage. In this way blockages and any bridging of the material in the hopper are effectively prevented.

With more efficiency, precision and comfort

In wintry road conditions, traffic safety must be ensured. This requires the quick treatment of icy road surfaces. For this AMAZONE offers a professional spreader that precisely meters the optimum spread rates of de-icing and gritting materials.

Regular applications of sharp sand in small quantities prevent lawn surfaces from becoming compacted and, as such, stop the creation of layers that are impenetrable to water, nutrients and air.

The AMAZONE E+S spreader becomes the perfect machine for the application of sand - and without any conversion required. The sand is evenly incorporated into the lawn. Any additional sweeping and lifting of the grass is not necessary.

After periods of 2 to 3 years, red sports field ash should be freshly applied to hard courts.

With the AMAZONE E+S spreader, the ash is evenly distributed to level out undulations and to prevent the coarse sub layer from coming through.

The flexible drive concept, with a choice either PTO shaft or hydraulic motor, makes a wide range of application possible, whether in a conventional way behind the tractor or also mounted on a wheeled loader (E+S Hydro)*.

Thanks to the variable delivery system adjustment, the E+S can be set to either symmetrical or asymmetrical spreading. Via the SmartCenter, which is comfortably located to the rear of the spreader at the height of the hopper tip, the spread fan can be quickly and very precisely adjusted.

Because winter salt spreaders have to face such horrific demands, AMAZONE sets high standards during production. The hopper tip, made from stainless steel, for example, is joined to the hopper by the use of up-to-date technology that utilises a seamless laser welding process.
