ContourFrame – Automatically adapts to any terrain

The Catros⁺-2TX trailed compact disc harrows, in working widths of 7 to 9 m, have three sections, whereas the Catros⁺ 12003-2TX has a five section frame design. This layout enables optimum contour following in the field. Each section moves independently in the field, thereby maintaining a consistent tillage depth on undulating terrain. The individual sections pivot both upwards and downwards. To ensure that the individual sections also work reliably on hard ground, they are hydraulically pressurised via hydraulic accumulators. This means that pressure is actively applied to the sections, so that they reliably penetrate the ground. In addition, ContourFrame further increases the smooth running, even on uneven ground. This system improves the quality of work with the Catros⁺-2TX, especially on undulating terrain. The Catros⁺-2TX models in working widths from 7 to 9 m are also available without ContourFrame for use on the level.
