Successful Agritechnica 2019

With around 450,000 visitors, including more than 140,000 from overseas, and 2,820 exhibitors, Agritechnica 2019 closed its doors having been great success. The number of visitors to the 2,700 m² Amazone stand in Hall 9 was more than ever. The entire Amazone team would like to thank all customers, interested parties and sales partners for coming and showing interest in Amazone. Visitor interest was evenly distributed across the 60 different machines and functional models on that were on show and across all Amazone’s areas of expertise. The 30 innovative machines and system solutions were particularly heavily discussed and this just shows that the demand for precision and automation in agricultural machinery continues to increase.

One of the special events at the show was the official handover of three silver innovation medals to Amazone. A silver medal went to EasyMix, part of the new Amazone mySpreader app for simplifying the evaluation and setting up of blended fertilisers. With the second award-winning innovation, AmaSelect Row, Amazone offers the option for all sprayers with AmaSelect nozzle bodies to switch remotely from full-width, blanket application to row-related band spraying. Amazone received the third silver medal together with eight partners for Nevonex powered by Bosch. Amazone developed the AmaSense Weather feature for the open and neutral digital ecosystem, a sensor that detects the current temperature and humidity on the Amazone crop protection sprayer.
