Amazone foundation
The Amazone foundation was established in 2008, in order to promote science, research and vocational training as well as training and further training in the areas of agriculture and agricultural machinery. With this in mind, Amazone, together with the companies Holmer and Krone, has made a donation for the three best successful candidates of the “Agricultural service master“ vocational training course since 2012. The outstanding achievements of the best trainees of the year are recognised with non-cash prizes and road safety training. These awards take place after the vocational training course as part of completion ceremonies at the Niendorf, Kleve and Triesdorf examination centres, which the training institute of the Federal Association of Agricultural Contractors actively supports.
In addition to this, the Amazone foundation sponsors the prize money for the annual “Agricultural services specialist“ vocational competition, which is also organised by the training institute of the Federal Association of Agricultural Contractors. The participants solve various theoretical and practical work-related tasks in the competition. The three winners from the training schools for agricultural services specialists receive cash prizes and are honoured by the Federal Association of Agricultural Contractors.
Supporting the upcoming generation and vocational training in agricultural machinery and agriculture is an area of special concern for Amazonen-Werke.
