Leipzig
The site Leipzig is representative for arable farming on large field structures. The climate is continentally influenced and characterized by reduced rain and pre-summer drought. Water and climate are the yield limiting factors.
The trial site is located on the farm Agrarprodukte Kitzen e.G. near Leipzig. In co-operation with AMAZONE, the approx. 3.000 ha sized farm runs trial fields of 770 ha. Since the year 2000 on an area of 75 ha exact trials are established and analysed by Dr. Voßhenrich from vTI Braunschweig. All variants are equally treated regarding crop protection and fertilisation.
