AD harrow-mounted seed drill

The AD Super harrow-mounted seed drill in a working width of 3 m is ideally suited for medium-scale to large-scale operations. Mounted on a KE rotary harrow or a KX/KG rotary cultivator and equipped with a RoTeC single disc coulter, the AD Super is ideal for use as a universal combination for plough sowing and mulch sowing.

The direct attachment of the AD harrow-mounted seed drill onto the various soil tillage machine options creates an optimised, coordinated and compact seeding combination. The clearly improved centre of gravity also means that relatively little lifting power is required.

With the KX Cultimix rotary cultivator, in a 3 m working width and for tractors in the 190 hp class, a very flexible PTO-driven soil tillage implement now exists that can be used as a rotary cultivator or as a rotary harrow.

The KG Special rotary cultivators, in working widths of 3 m, 3.5 m and 4 m, are ideally suited for seedbed preparation on heavy soils and for mulch sowing.

The KG Super, in 3 m, 3.5 m and 4 m working widths, is equipped with a high capacity gearbox for tractor horsepowers of up to 300 hp. The KG Super has reinforced tines as standard and can be ordered with hydraulic depth adjustment and oil cooler as options.

Thanks to the intelligent QuickLink quick coupling system, the AD drill combination can be very easily separated within a few minutes. As a result, the soil tilling machine is also perfect for solo use.

Thanks to the “liftpack” system used with the D9 linkage-mounted seed drill, or the QuickLink release coupling system of the AD harrow-mounted seed drill, the drill itself can be easily and quickly linked to the various AMAZONE soil tillage systems without the need for tools. In this way, the most appropriate and versatile sowing combination can be put together to cope with the most diverse of soils and applications.

The large seed hopper has a robust cover with rubber seals to keep out the dust and rain. The cover is particularly easy to operate, as it has a tubular handle and a gas-pressure cylinder. By matching the different sized seed hoppers and extensions, the capacity can be varied from 450 l to 1,000 l on a drill with a working width of 3 m.

An especially wide loading board, accessible via folding rear steps, simplifies the filling of the seed drill. The very spacious fill opening dimensions ensures a quick and convenient filling process – not only from big bags and front end loader buckets but also from small sacks.

Optionally available dividers keep the seed from sliding around in hilly terrain.

The standard mechanical fill level indicator allows the driver to keep an eye on the fill level from the tractor cab.

An optional rape insert kit can be quickly and easily attached inside the seed hopper to reduce the residual amounts of seed.
