For the exploitation of paddocks rank patches and thithles should be carefully mown. Simultaneously horse droppings have to be removed so that the paddocks remain clean and functioning. These tasks the HorseHopper from AMAZONE carries out comfortably and reliably. This universal machine in 1.35 or 2.10 metre cutting width which can also be mounted onto small tractors and which manages everything in one operational pass: Mowing, aerating, cutting and simultaneoulsy collecting the cuttings and the horse droppings. For the collection of moist cuttings, mixed with horse droppings, the HorseHopper is equipped with wing knives in combination with scarifying knives. The scarifying blades loosen the horse excrements in the turf and the wing blades collect the horse droppings and the cuttings into the hopper. Outside the paddocks the hopper contents can be discharged via a bowden cable and composted. As option the HorseHopper can be equipped with a hydraulic emptying device.
