Catros, Cenius, Certos and Cayron - are the famous names of the soil tillage implements, which are built at the Amazone  subsidiary BBG Bodenbearbeitungsgeräte Leipzig GmbH & Co. KG. Since 1998 BBG as a 100 % subsidiary belongs to the Enterprise Group of the Amazonen-Werke H. DREYER SE & Co. KG.

As well as the compact disc harrows, the mulch cultivators and reversible ploughs also the UG crop protection sprayers from BBG have acquired an excellent Reputation at customers in Germany and in more than 70 countries all over the world. In Addition to the machines from Leipzig active soil tillage implements and seed drills, precision air planters, fertiliser spreaders and crop protection Sprayers belong to the production Programme of the Amazone Group. On the Basis of this core competences Amazone is said to be one of the world wide leading manufacturers for complete System chains round about "Intelligent Crop Production".

Next to the factory a testing area is located where the Amazone soil tillage implements are subject to brutal durability tests. In the Amazone Active Centre on the factory site lecture events, trainings and seminars for customers and sales partners from all over the world take place.

Also in the direct vicinity of the factory site, on the farm Agrarprodukte Kitzen e.V. since the year 2000 exact tests for the Amazone 3C concept are carried out on an area of 75 hectares. In total areas amounting to approx. 770 hectare are available for Amazone trials.
