Amazone Foundation launches 'Innovation Award'

Samstag, 25. Juli 2009 (25. Juli 2009) With grants totalling in value to 6,000 Euros, the Amazone Foundation launches its "Innovation Award". In 2009 the Foundation will offer grants for a diploma, bachelor or masters thesis of 2,000 Euros, and for a doctorate thesis, 4,000 Euros.
The official presentation of the awards will be held at the exhibition for agricultural technology, Agritechnica 2009 in Hanover in the presence of the chairman of the board of the foundation Carl-Albrecht Bart, president of the German Agricultural Society (DLG). The purpose of the Amazone Foundation, which was founded in 2008 to mark the occasion of the company’s "125 years of Amazone" anniversary is to promote science, research and education and importantly, continuing training in the fields of agriculture and agricultural technology.
