Across Europe: the DreamTeam Tour 2018 is convincing in these extreme conditions
The AMAZONE DreamTeam is out on its big European tour: and the Cenius-2TX trailed cultivator and the Cirrus trailed seed drill combination have very successfully presented themselves during these weeks of extreme weather conditions.

The starting gun for the tour was fired at the end of July in Leipzig and since then the Amazone DreamTeam has been travelling across Europe. At present, the trailed implement duo, in their distinctive anthracite coloured paintwork, can be seen putting in the acres across Poland and Rumania. In parallel, planned by dealers and importers, also tours in Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom and in Estonia, Bulgaria and the Ukraine are simultaneously taking place. For eight weeks, farmers and agricultural contractors in Europe can get first-hand experience of the Amazone agricultural machinery close up. The Cenius-2TX trailed cultivator and the Cirrus trailed seeding combination are introduced to these large acreages, in the guise of not just individual demonstrations, but also at field days where they are presented in practical operation and customers are made familiar with the machines and have a direct exchange of experiences with Amazone.

Currently the Amazone DreamTeam has been facing acute challenges due to extreme weather conditions. Whilst farmers in Western Europe have to fight against extreme drought, wetness is aggravating the cultivation of arable farmland in Eastern Europe. Variations in the level of equipment, thus matching the specification of the machine to the situation in the relevant region has been crucial.

“During the tour we have at times faced extreme weather conditions. For this, however, we can offer our customers tailored solutions that suit the local situation and this is exactly what is in our focus: to design machines which are individually matched to the exact conditions in each country and which achieve, even in such difficult situations, the optimum results”, Timo Zipf, Amazone product marketing manager for passive soil tillage, explains. “The satisfaction of our customers is, of course, our highest priority.”
