ZA-M 1001 Special Profis weigh cell spreader

Up until now, weighing technology has been available exclusively for fertiliser spreaders in the top-end price sector and for machines with larger hopper volumes. With the ZA-M 1001 Special Profis, AMAZONE offers this professional technology now in the 1,000 l fertiliser spreader class.

During the spreading process the weighing system determines, with the aid of a weigh-cell, the differing characteristics of the spreading material – and all this with a very high measuring accuracy. It automatically compares the actually applied rate with the pre-determined rate. Deviations in the flow behaviour, for example with differently granulated mineral fertilisers, are detected and the spreader automatically readjusts itself via the electric metering shutters. The automatic setting of the spread rate offers a high level of comfort. No calibration is necessary as that process is carried out electronically and automatically via the AMATRON+ operator terminal in conjunction with the job computer. The user just enters in the desired application rate and can start spreading immediately, saving time and increasing work rates. AMATRON+ also controls the spread rate in accordance with the forward speed. Via key pressure, the spread rate can be over-ridden, up or down, as desired during operation.

The robust frame with integrated weighing technology has been designed for a maximum payload of up to 2,100 kg. With a base capacity of 1,000 litres, it can be extended with the S 500 extension to increase the hopper capacity to 1,500 litres.

The weigh-cell frame, directly integrated into the spreader, ensures that the centre of gravity from the tractor is not increased. The spreader is designed in such a way that hopper, frame and spreader form just one unit offering the advantage that very little strain is placed on the weigh-cell, even on slopes.

Thanks to new ZA-M Special Profis with its high precision and the precise weighing technology, fertiliser savings of up to 5 % can be achieved.
